Designing my own business cards was surprisingly challenging for me. It's a somewhat daunting concept of perfectly branding yourself, but I feel these two different designs represent different aspects of who I am (at the moment anyway).
This design was inspired by my middle name, Ivy. The illustration of Poison Ivy was one of my first drawings I did that was outside of my normal doodles a couple years ago. I decided to revive it for this occasion.
I've always been drawn to typography, especially hand-lettered. I was inspired by vintage 1920s packaging and the ornate nature of the decorations. I hand-letter my name and have since turned it into the animation showcased on this page.
